I'm Hunter Cullen.
I build practical digital tools and resources for people navigating safety systems, codes and standards, accessibility, advocacy, and public information.
My interests cross technical systems and public life: fire alarms, mass notification, building codes, OSINT, weather, politics, disability rights, and the design of information people can actually use.
My story
Curiosity turned into research, advocacy, and useful products.
I have built broad knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems, mass notification, information technology, legislative processes, political communications, and research. I am especially interested in the places where technology and policy have a direct effect on safety, independence, and access.
My professional background includes administrative support for The MENTOR Network and social media management for Assisted Independence, LLC. In an administrative role, I helped develop a fire-drill log that documented exit routes across 159 group-home sites—an early example of turning safety knowledge into a practical, repeatable tool.
Today, that same approach shows up in CodeTrack, a nationwide tracker for state adoption of ICC I-Codes and NFPA standards, and in the guides published through Signal & Access Studio.
